Farrowing Crate

Protects the sow before and after birthing by allowing her to get individual food, water, and care. The farrowing crate also protects piglets after farrowing as it prevents the sow from squashing the piglets. Piglets need higher temperatures than sows so crates allow a separate area for piglets to keep warm
